Reinforced concrete structures exposed in the marine enviroment are susceptible to corrosion due to chloride ion attack and carbon concrete carbonation. Usually, corrosion products of the steel bars in concrete expand and lead to the cracking and spalling of the concrete. The problem is common in , such as cross-sea bridges, tunnels, seawater cooling towers of nuclear power plant, ports, and coastal buildings. Our company has developed a new generation of corrosion prevention technology. By designing and installing such system that integrates cathodic protection and monitoring during the initial construction phase, we can prevent corrosion in reinforced concrete structures and improve their durability and safety.
